The Overall Arbitrary Trail Score (OATS) Scoring System: I made up that chain of words with no acronym in mind. It just so happened to work out. 

This innovative, revolutionary system ranks how much I liked a piece of gear based on features, weight, performance, ease of use, usefulness. It's subjective.
